About

My name is Chandler Crawford. I am a personal injury attorney who represents people injured through no fault of their own, with a growing focus on traumatic brain injuries.

I created this site because brain injuries—especially concussions and mild traumatic brain injuries—are consistently misunderstood, minimized, and poorly explained. Too often, people are told they are “fine” because imaging looks normal, or because their symptoms do not fit a simple narrative. Many are left questioning their own experience while trying to function in daily life.

This blog exists to slow that process down.

Why Brain Injuries

In personal injury practice, brain injuries are different. They are frequently invisible. Symptoms can evolve over time. Recovery is rarely linear. And the gap between how a person looks and how they feel creates confusion—medically, legally, and personally.

I began focusing on traumatic brain injury because I saw how often these cases were oversimplified. I also saw how much clearer outcomes became when the injury was approached thoughtfully, documented carefully, and explained in plain language.

What This Site Is—and Is Not

This site is:

  • an educational resource on concussions and traumatic brain injury,

  • written for injured people, families, and professionals who want clarity,

  • grounded in real legal and medical realities.

This site is not:

  • medical advice,

  • a substitute for individualized legal counsel,

  • or a place for sensationalism.

My goal is accuracy, restraint, and usefulness.

Perspective

I have practiced personal injury law for years and have helped many people with traumatic brain injury claims. I am not writing as someone who claims to “know everything.” I am writing as an attorney who has chosen to study brain injuries more closely—because the consequences of misunderstanding them are real.

If you are dealing with symptoms after a head injury, or trying to make sense of conflicting information, I hope this site helps you ask better questions and recognize when something deserves closer attention.

Brain injuries change how life feels. They deserve to be discussed carefully, not rushed past.
